im in australia, and it doesnt take that one, only the 1276. They arent compatible unfortunately . I can remove the amp for my rear speakes, and it will play fine through the front ones, but the sub doesnt work than. And sounds crap.

sounds like a one point immobiliser is fine, they are pretty easy to install too. I think what your after is a two point shock sensor (someone touches the car and the alarm goes off). You can get one here...

do you need an immobiliser? one two or three point?? Does it have to connect to central locking?

as well as what kross said, you should check the actual wire that your running to the speakers and amp. The whole length of it i mean, because even a little cut in the wire rubbing against the chassis could cause this.
