My Old School Camaro RS build....

Too bad NADA is pretty much only used by insurance companies to determine value. Actual street value is nowhere close to those numbers.. especially for most of "your" vehicles that aren't even complete. Like the 74 914.. 13k nada, right, more like $3k on craigslist. But anyway, you wanna brag...

Threw up a quick vid, finally got all the 6x8s replaced. Still need to get the 4200X hooked up and get all the wires ran better. Camera really ***** and doesn't do it justice, not much flex but sounds really loud and clear in the truck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIAum5lPDXA

Adding 2 more batteries to system: Check my wiring please!!

Sorry to bump an old post, but just had to point out that 2 fuses are definitely needed on the pos run from front to back. If you only fuse at the front, then any short in the line will still draw power from the rear battery even with the front fuse blown. In runs like that you really should...

I have thought about JLs, but didn't know if they'd really be enough of a upgrade to justify the cost. I ran 4 12w0s in my old escort back in 98 that sounded awesome, but it's been too long to really compare the 2. Which series would match well with the 600w rms of the PPI?

Yea, I've realized Kicker is pretty frowned upon by most, but they do sound pretty clean even at high volume, although that's probably more the PPI than the subs. I have no idea what to replace them with though, I've not built a box in a long time, and have limited room in the truck.

I already know I will most likely receive much thrashing because my setup does not include any brands such as Sundown, FI, DD, AQ, blah blah, but I just wanted a decent daily setup in my truck. Here's a "diagram" of what I am currently running, the vehicle is a '94 Mazda B4000 Ext Cab. I...
