    ok another wiring question

    The formula for calculating impedance/resistance ratings (in your case) would be. using Ohms Law 1/R1 + 1/R2 = 1/Rt where R1, R2 = Resistance values RT = Total resistance 1/4 + 1/8 = 3/8 = 2.6 ohms

    RCA help

I had this problem once. I'm guessing each amp is running a different sub in one box. If this is the case check your polarity on the speaker wires. You'll probably find that you accidentally got one backwards. this would one sub to pull in while the other is pushing out, effectively cancelling...

    Just clearing a few "myths"

I have been working with car audio for over ten years, and buy every issue of Car audio & electronics. These guys will tell you the same thing. basically to clear up what I meant. Underpowering speakers causes more distortion. Distortion causes the speaker to act erratically instead of...

    Just clearing a few "myths"

I've been reading these posts and i've noticed a few people are trying to help people by stating myths. I'll try and clear up the ones i've seen first off, to be accurate for finding impedance rating of parrallel circuits you don't divide by the number of speakes (anyone who has taken physics...
