Yea iPod sounds like it's better for your situation. I like my Zune better. I still use iTunes to manage my library though. Be sure to change your burning format to mp3 so you won't ever have to worry about AAC and WMV and all that other marketing horse dung.

You can choose a lossless WMA format with the Zune software. Possibly with WMP, as well.
