The tang bands are so cheap I'd probably try those first and see how they sounded. Worst case you have to sell them on here, and that wouldn't take long. I think any of those options would sound pretty good, just make sure if you put the subs behind the drivers seat that they have breathing...

I have a PPI 2600.2 amp that I used for a year then stored it for two. I recently hooked it up to a battery and it powered on just fine, and I see no reason it wouldn't work. It is a two channel amp, but is currently setup for bridging only. The reason being is that the little screw down...

Not quite as impressive as some of the others, but I like it: JBL GT0804 I hope to upgrade to a DD or RL-i once I convert the truck to bench seats so I have room for a larger, ported console box. Right now I don't have a lot of space for any sort of amazing design.

If I really crank the seat all the way back and recline it back a bit it does in fact touch the rubber surround on the sub. However, I sit with the seat back fairly close to vertical, and I'm only 5'10" so I sit with the seat up a couple clicks. The sub always has a good amount of breathing room...
