I just read about setting the HU gain to +15 before setting gain on the amp. My x789 has 5v preouts, think that would help? I only saw that alpine's don't put out their max volt until HU is max gain. Kenwood the same?

I want someone to say the db's are less than mid range coaxel, they are 3ways, but I had the sub unplugged for 2 weeks and hec k if those 6x9's didn't displace some air. I feel like they could push more but it really opened my eyes to maybe they're getting pushed just fine for what they are.
