Ah.. thanks.. I'm familiar with orbital sanders, but don't think I've heard them called DA except in context of certian brands.. Now I know

I believe DA is a brand.. he's talking about newmatic (sp) tool.. hooks up to the air hose on the compressor and uses air to move the sanding head.. like an orbital sander..

I think I'll have to disagree with you.. While you don't want just resin for structual use, to use it to fill cracks would be fine if they were too small for like a glass/resin paste to be pushed into.. keep in mind there are a lot of types of 'cracks'.. and note that I suggested using a little...

    2 ohms

Hmm.. 4 1ohm coils.. you can have 4 ohm.. 1 ohm.. I think that's it.. 2 for .5 then those two to 1.. all 4 to 4, or 2 to 2, 2 to 2, then that pair to 1.. if you had the two of them, then yeah.. set pairs to .5 ohm.. then series all 4 sets .. .5 + 5 is 1 ohm per sub, then both subs 1 + 1 = 2...

sorry.. no idea.. I'd immagine that all the 'top' brands have dvc 4, 2, and 1.. that's a guess.. might have to check the sites..

First, depending on the size of the cracks, I'd say use resin to fill them (maybe even a little glass if big enough).. Second, you want ~400+ grit (IIRC.. up to 800 IIRC for the final 2 coats) for wet sanding.. it's almost like buffing.. but with a bit more 'umph' than just cloth.. but not...

    2 ohms

*shrug* size? brand? any more info? I have 2 10" Pioneer Premier dvc 4ohm subs.. don't want them.. can't make them sound right with the two 12"s I have.. not really full SPL subs.. but not badly priced

There are tons (I want to say hundreds, but that might be too many ) of different types.. some will yellow over time, some won't... some are slightly flexable, some get like glass.. some only work in one coat, some can be layered.. just depends.. I'd say call a fiberglass shop and ask.. or...

trying to understanded ported boxes for brahma 10"

If you get WinISD and want the box dimensions, you need the beta (older).. and the box will be square.. if you get the Alpha (pro, newer) it doesn't do box calcs (not the build I have anyway).. but, that's moot.. you know the shape you want.. that's all that matters.. Now, you can put in the...

    painting fiberglass...

You can spray can it if you are very careful and patient.. use primer first (a filling primer is recomended for fiberglass, to get the surface filled in.. a few coats, sanded between).. For good spray-painting, you want to keep the layers light.. don't get it too heavy or you will get runs that...
