Installing components without tweeter OK?
Just got my new car and have to save a bit before I get my full system installed. Was wondering if it is ok to install my Alpine components (SWR -13S/SWR-17S) without the tweeters or crossovers. There would be no amp or new deck, just the factory deck going directly into the speakers. I would... -

Smaller components for rear deck?
Got myself a 2010 Cobalt and the speaker size is: Front: 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 Rear: 5 1/4 Getting the Alpine Type R Components (SPR-13s/SPR-17s) Would it be best to get 2 pair of the 5 1/4, or put the 6 1/2's in the front. Thank you for any and all input.
