I havent tooken it out of the box. But when I tried playen it the sound was like loose springs or coils???? In the next day or two Im going to take a better look at it.

Ya, Its toast.. I was running 1 Alpine SWR-1242D with 2 Lanzar OPTI2x300D. In a ported box of 1.75 cf tuned @ about 35... each voice coil to 1 amp. I loved the way it Hit. One woof was all i needed till it was no more. Now I have replaced it with two 10" Atomics in a sealed box around 1.8...

OK, I got the Apline R in and been using it with the 2 Lanzar amps. Man is it loud. I really got to turn it down. and the amps are not even half way up. I am not really happy with the actual sound from the amp but i'm making another box. I think I went to big. Even though specs say I can us 1.7...

U know. Those Lanzars are pushing real good right now. I had added a Cap and made a differenxce. I might not get the BXi 1606D after all. I still havent installed the Alpine R but will give those Lanzars a Good Try 1st. Thanks Best place to get power wire at a good Price????

I've done ready and tried the port calculators and am a little confused. I notice when a box is bought there are normally two ports per sub and at least 3 to 4 in in wide. The leghnth is normally less that 6 inches long. But when I use the calculator to figure out what i need and it is not in...
