From my experience sub outputs are non-fade. If that's the case, you won't be able to adjust the balance of the mid/highs through the head unit. On some head-units the sub output will have a higher preamp voltage than other outputs.

Just picked up a 97 GMC Jimmy, and it's just dying for new system. Maybe 1 15, or 2 12, at least 1000 watts. going for SQ. My other ride, 99 Accord, has 2 12 Fosgates HX2, ported, getting about 1000 watts. I need the Jimmy to at least be able to keep up with the accord, but sound a little...

I built a sealed box for my two idq12 v2. Speakers are seperated by a divider. Each chamber has about 1.5 cu. ft. On image dynamics website, it recommands .55 to 1.0 cu. ft. Will having 1.5 cu. ft. per sub damage the subs any, or give poor perfromance?
