Question.......... I have two 8" Whip Audio Mids going in each door on my 00 Hombre. I want to make sure they hit the lows real good. they are rated at 60-6k hz i think.... i am going to cross them over from 60-3000, my tweets from 2500-16k, and my subs from 70 and down.... my question is...

ok i guess..... sub was moving, but it doesn't seem like you are getting that much pressure up front.... can was not moving, peanuts wrapper not moving etc....... looks like you need a new HU, and box to get more SPL out of that setup. just my .02 cents....

to be honest with you i would think i would still be louder..... and to me 10 8's ported looks cooler then 2 sealed 18's. he should have 508.94^2 of cone area or so and i should have 502.7^2 of cone area, so he is alittle bit more then me, but me being ported will make up the difference...

yeah that is my worry..... but i am using spandex fabric and using ca to attach it to the door first then using resin on that so make the general layout..... then using woven fiberglass cloth on the back side for strength and to attach it to the door panel even more! i will be using 8" PVC...

as far as tweeter and mids arrangement.... i am going to mount them in different spots, and angles and drive it for a couple days or so untill i find one i like the most..... that should help with the sound stage, and where i am going to mount the tweeters in relation to the mids.

the mids were in Tommy Mckinnie's truck ( ho problems ) you should be able to see some pics, and vids online. try youtube, type in Ho problems, or king of bass and there should be 3-4 vids of him.....
