The fitted the Kenwood faceplate into the stock radio and used a cable to install the unit in the glove box. Installed a fiber optic cable so I could control the radio since the rf receiver wasn't accessible in the stock radio. It also has a cd changer cable, I'm thinking there has to be way...

I had an old Kenwood head unit, preamp outputs only from the mid 90's. Not sure what the model number was but installed the faceplate inside a stock 68 charger am radio so can't see it unless the radio is powered up. I may still install this unit wondered what new options are available.
