I don't anticipate a problem but thought I'd take the extra percaution. So there is no need to gauge up the power wire? Its a small amp 300w mono. I just figured I save having to run bigger wire in the future. I'll have to dwell on the subject for a bit.

Issue at hand -- Kicker amp calls for 8 gauge wire. Amp uses a set screw terminal for wires. I'd like to run 4 gauge wire to the amp so not to starve it. But 4 gauge will not fin in 8 gauge hole. My question is: Will the stinger 4 gauge to 8 gauge adapter work for this?? Any info on these...
