I have a JVC head unit, everything was working fine until today i was going down the highway and the sound quit working. everything else, lights ect. are fine on the head unit. pulled head unit and all wires and connections are fine just no sound. no sound threw rca's to my amp and subs either...

It was a fuse. It was blown but up in the corner and you could hardly tell. all good now

pretty much. I grounded the amp to the floor, it's in the back of a suburban i sanded the paint down drilled a hole and put a bolt there. seems like a good enough ground to me.

I'll go screw around with it more first.

the only thing i can think of is i was a little bit rough on my rca's when i was snaking them through the truck but i dont think that would even make a difference wether or not the amp would cut on?

the in-line fuse is good

well i cant get the amp to come on. i know it worked yesterday for sure because i heard it. i re-did my ground twice, power wire is good, remote wire fine, dont know why the hell it wont come on I'll have to keep messing with it i guess.

thanks for the replies and i'm upgrading from 2 audiopipe 12" and a lanzar amp so i was pretty impressed by the way this sounded in his acura, real clean sounding not muddy like my other subs heres exactly what the amp looks like (this ones not mine though)
