I also run the v-12 amps in my s-10. They also are very good amps.

Yeah MTX all the way. I have one pushing 2 12" rockford HE2 subs and they slam pretty hard. The gain is set halfway and the bass knob is set halfway. I couldn't be happier. Oh wait after I install my DD 9512 sub then I couldn't be happier. BTW how do you mod the amp? Thanks LMK.

I just ordered my DD9512 a week ago. I bought it for a local car audio shop here in Hawaii for $389. Kinda expensive but that is what I get for living in paradise. I'll be using a MTX1501 amp to push this baby. I'll let you know how it sounds when I get it installed.

I would go with the Alpine. I'm biased though.
