Cold War era amp from 1986. Eggs were 87 cents per dozen.... Pyramid PB401a

From my collection a Pyramid PB401a amplifier from 1986. Class AB amp claims 100 watts per channel. Bridgeable and has separate gain control for left and right speaker. The board looks pretty decent and the amp itself sounds really good. Enjoy the pics!

    Memphis capaciter exploded

I've been all over the world in situations where I could have easily not made it home and during those times I have seen knock offs, unauthorized logos, and even products with stolen technology in them. I try to avoid products from places I perceive to offer poor performance, designs and...

It's Logical! A rare high current from the past.

Yes! The circuitry is pretty simple and it actually sounds incredible. I haven't hooked it up in a while so I decided to get it out and let it run for a while. Very clean sounding with plenty of headroom.

It's Logical! A rare high current from the past.

Here's my old school high current Class AB Logic L24HC amp. It's a 2 channel and 1/2 ohm stable. It's also fan cooled! I believe it to be rated at 45 x 2 into 4 ohms and somewhere in the neighborhood of 350 watts at 1 ohm mono. Enjoy the peeks!

    10 disc CD changer

It appears to have an 8 Pin DIN cable. According to the USA 740 manual It looks like you have 2 options for playing CDs. The first one is the CD-1 half din sized single disc player or the now discontinued USA-CD60 six disc cd changer.

Nothing wrong with a pair of Fast and Furious

Yeah, I plan to run them in my workshop. I haven't gone through them or anything but they startup and run just fine. I don't see any strange spike on my power supply and there are no noises either. I agree. I'm going to get some more use out of them. No use in letting them sit.

Nothing wrong with a pair of Fast and Furious

They're actually clean sounding and pretty stout. I'd put them on par with the Rockford Prime R150x2 class AB amps. They're rated the same power output wise and I've compared them side by side. The Fast and Furious theme is a bit flashy for me but they're great conversation pieces.

Nothing wrong with a pair of Fast and Furious

I fired up my old pair of Lightning Audio FF150.2 amps today. 50x2 or 150 x 1 bridged at 4 ohms.

    Recoil Audio

I bought a Recoil line driver/LOC to tinker with in my work shop. It has impressed me enough to leave it hooked up. Recoil model QLOC+D
