I currently have 2 12" P3s in a 4 cubic ft ported enclosure powered by a Kenwood eXcelon X1R. I am planning on purchasing either a T1000 or a T1500 amp in the future. I have looked at the MTX 8500s or RF T1s to replace my old subs. Which subs do anyone recommend or do you have any other outside...

so in anyone's opinion, what is a good x-over?

is it as simple as buying a passive crossover for each and then wiring it between them and the amp?...and im guessing crossovers have outputs for speakers and tweets respectively?

I'm wondering if i could hook up a 4 channel amp with 2 channels for a pair of 6x9s and the other 2 channels for a tweet and 4x6 speaker each. Is it possible to put a tweet and speaker on the same channel and divide the wattage appropriately? I've searched on the other threads, and can't find...

i have an '02, and i have the opposite problem i got it out, but can't get it to fasten down so i just sit it there...i haven't had anyone notice yet
