I went today and got another head unit and hooked it up. I get some movement on one sub but it does not hit very hard at all. How do you check subs to see if they work or not? I hooked up a another amp and it does the same thing. Very small movement on the subs.

the amp pushes some older mtx 12s I have laying around but not the punch 12s. I took the speakers and the amp back where I got them and traded them for what I have now. I bought a sony xplode 1200w amp used. I also bought a pair of punch 12 he2 from somewhere else used. The problem I am having is the amp does not seem to be pushing the subs. The guy I bought the amp from said I need a larger amp to push those subs. Is this correct? The amp is a xm2200gtx I believe.
