Bigblank, I see you tested this amp and also the SoundQubed sa-100 which one would you choose to run 4 mid range speakers?

I bought my from LMI welding they make a GM kit.

I have that same truck and used a 3" seat lift and the seats still are 100% usable.

Shredder, Yes i had the 1500 and sold it to a buddy for his system. Now i am looking for something different. I think i am leaning towards the soundqubed.

I am having trouble deciding what amp direction to go in. The subs i am using are a pair of Sundown x8's. These are the 3 amplifiers i am considering . Sundown SAE-1500D CTsounds 1400.1d Car audio Bargin cab1600.1 What do you guys think?

Thanks Shredder, your plans sound like they will work. There is plenty of space for the side port and the brackets are not solid. Thanks again.

Shredder, My wood working skills are really good and i have all the tools to do the job. The amp i am going to use is a Sundown SAE1500D @1 ohm. As for the tuning Sundown site says the port tuning should be 32 hz. I don't think it has to be that exact though. Thank you for your help with this.

West1 , i had the same issues with my down firing 10"s they would bottom out.

According to their website the box should be tuned to 32hz

Yeah tell me about it i could get 10" if i didn't care if the sear went all the say down
