I just bought one off ebay and channel 3 and 4 dont work. What usually causes this? Can you recomend anyone to repair it? Thanks!

I got the CF vinyl in as pictured above. The stuff looks pretty good. I am not really trying to make anyone think its real carbon fiber, but wanted something that was different than standard vinyl. Actually it is standard vinyl that looks to be stamped with style.

What do you mean? The looks or the workability? The material should be here tomorrow. If its that bad, I may use standard gray vinyl.

that seals the deal then. I have an 840mp now but the face plate died for the third time! Does the face on this one come straight out or down and out? The latter is what my 840 did and thats what caused that little computer ribbon/cable to keep breaking on an annual basis.

Does this model have the dynamic gauge display(tach,rpm,and volts) like the 780?

I checked crutchfield but??? I've been debating over this one and a DEH-P880PRS, but leaning towards the 780. If you have any info, thanks!

I have covered boxes with carpet before. How difficult are they to cover in vinyl? What should I be watching out for. I was just going to go and buy some vinyl and foam padding at the local fabric market and start glueing and stretching. How do you acclomplich the seems? I will be tackling this...
