I had my system running without the subs and it was just fine. I've set the crossover low pass for the subs at 80 hz. I don't know maybe my ears are scrapped and my friend's ears too

Thank you guys, I'll try to get metered to be sure I'm not destroying my ears in there. It's not THAT loud, I wouldn't call me an SPL master, but maybe the size of the car play a big role or maybe it's just that these subs are craps and generate some hidden frequencies that blows my ears...

What do you mean Mackenzie? What I'm not understanding is why I can't stand the pressure and most people can't stand it too in my car and some people can stand an XXX 15" sub. I can listen to hit to 10/30 on my stereo and there is still pressure popping in my ears.
