I think I figured out my issue. I had the gain on the amp at 3/4 so I backed it down to 1/2 and it has not went back into protection mode, but I lost some volume. Do I need more batteries to hold the 3/4? It sounded so much louder before. *Edit I still have an extra 0 gauge wire that I have...
