i dont think theres such thing as a sq system with 2 12's, you might be looking for a SQL sub, in that case with your budget i would recommend a used pair of tc sounds, fi or re subs

it happends with pioneer decks all the time, im a bestbuy installer and i have had rca preout feedback too many times. Not once have i had the same issue with alpine though.

yeah thats probably what i will be doing. i just hope there will be a noticeable difference from my pair of eclipse aluminums im running right now (prefab sealed 1.25c/ft each. ) im setting up an order with fishercustoms so we'll see results in a week or two. I cant wait to get these guys up!

the only gripe i've had about rubber surrounds is that after time ive noticed my rubber surround speakers i had had in the past (ie: eclipse aluminum, rf power hx2) have seemed to sag because of the rubber surround deforming. idk wheither it is just supension sag or surround i havent had any...

just out of curiousity what size box and tuning did were they in? i like your numbers, i hope i can hit that with my setup

i would love to give them both amps strapped @ 1 ohm which would put out somehwere in the 3.5k+ watt area, but idk thats really pushing it.

those are def. 3hp motors, the 15 inch basket just mosters them and makes them look like tc9's great speakers btw, someone jump on this. good condition ti's are getting harder and harder to find
