I got the 2 w6s and they sound great. I pointed them back for looks and the sound was about the same. Oh well it was worth asking. I still have a 500w profile amp pushing them untill I get the JL slash 1000. I hope that will bring the vol up more. seen videos of w6s hitting around 140 in slp...

lol ya I know. If I can get a reading and your right that it will hit harder speakers up then I would go with it. But I think it might be cleaner with speakers back and you cant see them if you look in. So with everyones input it still comes down to what the user thinks is better. I was looking...

I make my own I just need a program to help me tune it and give me the size. No one has done anything on this truck for me, im to cheap to pay someone. But im thinking subs back and port up. I wish I could take some readings both ways but they want 20.00 for 30 sec at the store.

Yes the box does look big but I went off of JLs design on the website so its 1.75 per sub. And the subs are not staying. Im going to upgrade to w3 or maybe w6. But if I get the w6 I need a new amp. No not what sounds better. What way do people point them to get the most out of them. In a car trunk everyone points them back, why is that? do they hit harder? Thats what I'm getting at

Will liquid nails work? I never made a box where I couldn't seal it from the inside where the sub fits. This was taken before I used L/N's I didn't want everyone to think that I sealed it already lol.

I made a box for 2 subs and when u push one sub the other moves a bit. Should I try to fix it or will it be ok. They are running in mono and they are the same speaker. I must have not added enough liquid nails down the divider when I put the back on.
