Update. I couldn't try connecting my phone to the sub because once I disconnect the high level inputs the amp won't turn on. It's using the high level inputs as the remote turn on and I didn't feel like running a separate remote turn on wire just for testing purposes. I did notice though that...

1aespinoza thank you. He's still using the factory radio so we just have a LOC spliced into the front and rear speaker wires for the signal.

My son is wanting to add a 4-channel amp to power his door speakers in his truck. He already has a Kicker mono sub amp installed and it has RCA output on it. My question is will that be sending a full channel out? Can we just run RCA cables from the Kicker output in the new amp inputs?
