yea i think i blew the first one by disconnecting & connecting the power wire with battery terminal connected and it is definetly nice to have my sound back & not having to work on it (after the dispicable robbery of my last system ) Thanks everyone for your help...hopefully this amp...

well i took the amp that fried back and got a new 1... i installed new 1 (this time with negative battery terminal disconnected ) I turned my gain down to 0 and my sensitivity level to about 65%... I then went into my HU eq and turned my highs & mids down to -1 each (im using bass blockers...

yea i dont understand those "ohmm equations" or anything about DMM or O-scopes

1 the amp did quit working . it worked the rest of the night after the whole wire disconect thing but the next day as soon as i started it up it started smoking.... 2 i think the sensitivity has to do with the level between your in door speaks with your sub and my inside sound is louder than...

Im hoping it is ok to mount it on my sub box??? And if so do i need to use rubber washers between the amp and box ?

1st ive had to turn my Sensitivity knob up to 75% (is that bad ? ) to get the levels of door speakers to match the sub (but i want the sub to kinda overpower the door speakers)just a lil more.So i think i would only need to turn the gain up a max of 10db. well im thinkin I might turn the lows...
