    Speakers Lack Bass!

That sounds like a nice setup for a jeep. I do love my two 10" sub's but I like the speaker and amp setup you described.

    Speakers Lack Bass!

I guess if the sound bar won't give me what I want I'll have to get creative and add some speakers! Just for something to do, I hook up the original 4x6 dash speakers and set them between the rear seat and the floor near where the passenger's feet go and it actually sounded decent. I'm thinking...

    Speakers Lack Bass!

I tried that and it just sounded terrible and all my settings are good.

    Speakers Lack Bass!

YES! It's so annoying, there's just a terrible flat spot.

    Speakers Lack Bass!

That's a pretty good idea you had for your CJ and 6x9's in my opinion are much better than 6.5 speakers. I have a TJ now but before this I had a YJ and I had 6x9's mounted on the fenders and they were spectacular.

    Speakers Lack Bass!

I've got two 10" subs packed in the back so I've got plenty of bass from the subs, but the speakers lack so much that they don't produce the higher bass that subs don't do.

    Speakers Lack Bass!

I have them powered by an amp and they hit pretty hard (they shake the sound bar) but audibly they're pathetic. I figured there'd be enough air space as the entire sound bar is an enclosure except for a small portion where the dome light is. Could anyone give me a very rough estimate as to how...

    Speakers Lack Bass!

Hi everyone, I've got some Kicker KS60's 6-1/2" speakers in the rear sound bar in my Jeep and basically they lack almost all bass. The stock speakers had substantially more bass than these and they were the typical garbage 5-1/4" factory speakers. I know it's not a wiring issue as I've had them...

Tuning Subs - What Subwoofer Setting to Use on Stereo

Well I also did a software update and a Bluetooth update on the stereo and they apparently boosted the volume significantly so that my normal listening volume (which is what I just tuned the subs for) is now way too high. But not all is lost and when I turn the volume up to what I tuned it for...

Tuning Subs - What Subwoofer Setting to Use on Stereo

I want to use a multimeter to get it pretty much perfect, and the problem I see with leaving the sub level at 10 is that there's WAY too much bass for normal listening if I put the gain somewhere where I can still achieve "show off" amounts of bass. I'm thinking that I should tune the amp with...

Tuning Subs - What Subwoofer Setting to Use on Stereo

Hi, I've tuned my subs be ear and left them that way for a while, but I would like to tune them correctly with a multimeter so I can get full power (I kept it down to be safe) out of the subs. I know all settings should be flat and if I want loudness or bass boost on I should tune the amp with...

Stereo Dims/Shuts off While on Battery (engine not running)

I'll have to try disconnecting the ground wire from the plug and attaching it to a ground point elsewhere.

Stereo Dims/Shuts off While on Battery (engine not running)

I'm using a plug adapter for the stereo and if I remember correctly the ground is integrated into the harness. Could that be a potential issue?

Stereo Dims/Shuts off While on Battery (engine not running)

Hi I have an issue in my Jeep where my stereo will dim and shut off as I turn the volume up while it's running on the battery. I've looked this up over and over and cannot find an answer to my particular problem. I know my battery is fine and that's not the problem and I can turn it up as loud...
