I still haven't purchased the amp, but I was only looking to spend around $200 and the amp was offered for around $180. What would you recommend getting for around $200-250 (I'm willing to get something used)?

I'm split because I've heard a lot of people say that sealed is hands down the way to go because of the sound quality, but I've also heard quite a few people say ported sounds better.

So i will soon be hooking up one Jl 12w6v2 and a gpv 2000.1 in the trunk of my corolla and I was wondering what kind of enclosure I should get. Obviously I want a lot of bass but I don't want it to drown out the music itself with all of its thumping. Should I go with the ported or sealed box?

What about a TMA amp? Would that work well with the W6?

I'm looking for an amp to power one 12" JL W6. I don't want to under power it, but I'm trying to keep it between $200-$400 (preferably not as high as $400). Any Suggestions?
