    I cut apart an old rca cable I have and spliced the wire into the rear sub wire to see if I would get anything. I got some good bass, but it was pretty low. Im hoping this LOC will work. How did you work on the Merc?

    I just recieved the soundgate LOCX line output converter. I have already found my subwoofer wire coming from the bose amp. Now, the LOC has 4 wires for both left and right rear speakers. Since I am wiring them up to my existing stock sub, can I bridge both wires. like twist both positive...

    Seems that if you wire it in series it will produce 3.2 ohm which is probably in the 450-500 watt RMS range. I also looked into parallel, but that seems it will be 0.8 which is less than 1 ohm. Would my amp be able to handle that?
