Does anyone know a good 18 sub that would work well in a Elemental Designs 19ov.2 enclosure? Its 3.5cf tuned to 28 or 32hz cant remember. I got the sub + box from ed and the sub failed within a few days of use (had a sub sonic filter set) and i never got around to returning it for warranty...

I need a cheap amp for under 100 dollars shipped that will do around 1000-1200 watts at 1 ohm, and decent output at 2 ohms. I plan to run 2 4ohm dual voice coil 15s, and plan to add a third, also, if anyone has a kicker comp vr 15 dvc 4ohm sub laying around i can get for cheap let me know.

ive got a old school looking Memphis 16-PB1KD. I think its rated 1000@2 ohms. Would it be safe to run it at 1 ohm? i know alot of amps have no problem doing this, but im not familiar with the quality of memphis amps.

anything pushed into mass production cheapest parts and assembly to the lowest bidder is going to have questionable quality. I think thats what made Re, Adire, and the other audio companys so great a few years back. But it seems when they go mass production things go bad

Lol, how do companys come up with some of their power ratings, Like certain computer multimedia systems, 850 watts P.M.P.O. peak mechanical power output or peak musical power or whatever and its only like a 3 inch sub, or say certain car audio brands like sony, is that like with a wall socket...
