What size fuse should i use for this wire? Would 8 gauge wiring be okay?

Hi i was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the power acoustik ps4-300? It's rated at 40wats rms at 4ohm per channel. I got this amp brand new from a friend for 20 dollars. Right now i'm just running some pioneer 6.5s in the front and some phoenix gold 6x9s in the rear(not installed yet)...
