I thought I read that the JL Audio speakers were 2 ohms, and the manual for the HU said to use only 4-8 ohm speakers and NOT to use 1-2 ohm speakers... I found the manual for the JL Audio 300/2 amplifier, and it did not mention at all if it has build-in circuitry, but it did say that I should...

oops, i meant that my front speakers are Pioneer TS-A1604C and back speakers are Pioneer TS-A1684R.

Hi all... I have a 2004 Toyota Highlander with a stupid stock system (stupid because it has a tape deck!) with JL Audio speakers. I researched headunits and the one I really like is the Pioneer AVH-P3200BT. I know they came out with a newer model, but I still like this one (and it's cheaper)...
