Looking for some advice on which set up would yield the best SQ for a active set . Its the mighty(older) combo of the pioneer DEX-P9/DEQ-P9 vs. A pioneer DEH-8300UB + the JBL MS-8. FYI, I have a powerbass ASA-1100.5x amp. My goal is to run a front stage setup plus sub only. Thanks guys(and girls)!

Sooooo, I could run ch. 3&4 to the 6.5's. for front use? Would that make the fronts sound like the rears?

I have the ASA 1100.5x, and I was looking at going active crossover in my vette. Do I need new amps, or will my 5 channel work? I hope to only run a 6.5" and 1" tweet in each door(2 doors, if you did not get that part). I already have a sub and pioneer cd player. Do I need a MS-8?

I wish I could have been there for that one. I did not even know that scraping the coast was that big of an event. I've lived in Ocean Springs for 7+ years. When I come back to the states I'll have to ride out to the coast.

In my old car I had in Washington, I had the Polk db comp. set with the MA audio HK-598(100rms x 4) In the rear I had the polk db 3 way 6x9's. Overall, I felt like it was to much highs and not any mid bass. I will more then likley get the Boston Pro's. Thank about that one.
