ok, well I built it with plexi that was 1/2 inch thick, and what do you know, the thing flexed and literally SEPERATED from my box. This is quite astonishing to me, since it is glued, sealed, and fastened with no less than 20 screws Oh well, time to start again. That Brahma is a beast!!!

do the brahmas really not need that much power to get going? If I remember correctly, a 15" Brahma in a ~1ft cubed box will reach full excursion at 400 watts? I've also heard that these Brahmas need a good deal of power to get going. As for mine (B10), its just sitting in a 1.2ft^3 ported...

Well, I've been very happy with my Alpine 7894, but it may be time to move on (or not? Looking for suggestions) Basically, I'm not worried about MP3 anymore, and I wont be using the internal HU amp, which are 2 big features of the 7894. I'd like to have the ability to tweak more with EQ...

Hi there, I've got a ported box for my Brahma 10", and I'm feeding it around 1kw. The box is 3/4" MDF, but the rear of the box will be plexi. Is 1/2" Plexi thick enough? Thanks!

I've got the 4g as well. Nice to see that the power really opens up when they are bridged. Hopefully, I can get great output from the stereo options

How much power can I really expect from one of these? I know its 30x2 @ 4 ohm stereo, but I also know these amps are powerhouses and underrated. Do you think that 1 could confidently run a set of components? (just one side though- i might get 2 zrs)
