I have just a basic sealed box in my jeep cherokee and when it worked it sounded great. I talked to Best buy people about what kind of box and they recommended a bandpass but i still went with the sealed (price difference is huge). (i have 2 10s)

I have already opened up my sub box and everything appeared connected. The amp is refurbished (yes, i know im cheap) so maybe that could have something to do with it. Another idea I thought of is because it messed up on such a hot day maybe the automatic shut-off over-heating protector...

the subs played again this morning early(at about 7:30AM) for a few more seconds and hasn't worked today since then.

I checked the fuse in the engine compartmant and it appeared fine. I am pretty sure the amp is coming on because the red power light comes on. I have not yet checked the speaker terminal voltage.

I was wondering why neons are so expensive? There are 9" ones for $21 and 20" ones for $28. It just doesn't make any sense to me, can anyone explain? Thanks in advance.

i just ordered and installed a pioneer DEH-P7600MP from http://www.savinglots.com for a total of $231 with shipping. It is a great HU and seems to fit in your budget. It may not be up to the sq of an eclipse HU but i like it none the less.

Can you fit more MP3's or WMA's per CD (for arguements sake the songs are the same length and you use the exact same size CD)?

I was wondering if it is possible to upload music from ordinary CD's to your computer and change the format to MP3 or WMA and then burn those onto another cd to fit lots more songs. (sorry, i know its a little confusing) thanks in advance

I have decided to go ahead and get a pioneer, but im gonna upgrade to the DEH-7600 b/c it has mp3 and wma capabilities. I think i will regret not getting one with that.
