Yah man, I'm driving around with 38-40 on the volume level because at 45 it straight rapes my car

Voltage stays above 13.5 no matter what with the stock alt. I also have a deka up front that helps but my biggest problem is the box shaking violently. I plan on getting some L brackets and brace the box to the false floor just because on low songs it shakes like a *****

But yes, i agree it seems that the HO alt would prove to be the better buy at the moment.

In all honestly you should be alright. I'm running a 18 btl off a sundown 3k at 1 ohm. I'd say we'd be in the same ballpark with pressure, and with the amount of deadener i have in my trunk/rear deck area, i have no vibrations at all. The bass itself has actually only caused sunroof problems and...

I have the same car. If you wind up going with the deadener, i found that two rolls of raamat worked perfectly. Double and tripled layered most of my trunk and rear deck and still had 25sq ft left or so.
