Simply put man... Class d amps come with all the stuff to run a subwoofer.. liek subsonic filters and low pass filters... a/b amps come with fancy spinning gizmos more suited to component speakers... yes you could hook a class d to a set of tweeters.. but God(aka electricty) would not liek...

most stock amps are 100 amps... Try upgrading the wiring from the alternator to your battery to 4 gauge wire form the standard 8 guage..... And are you running them parrallel? Are you getting dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm? there is alot to think about man

That is hard to tell since different manufacturers use different styles of remote gain controls... but as long as it looks like a phone jack.. i say all the power to you to check...

Today my system cut out on me.. just the subs... I have the setup parrellel.. I think maybe the amp ran too hot and shut off and maybe blew a sub but how do you have the amp come back on if it has auto shut off or will it come back on automatically after its cooled off. Referred to owners...

get a mc1000d or the mojo... excellent sound and power.. and subs wise.. all depends on ported or sealed box... I am partial to audiobahns...
