I missed that link? Can you link? And is that $200 for the amp and sub?

I mean I know I don't get the deepness that the sub provides, but metal usually doesn't get a lot of that deepness, that's why a sub was never that important to me. I'm kinda against the idea of getting a sub in my door though. EDIT: Would I see a really big improvement alone just from...

It doesn't have to pioneer, but I'd rather it be. Idk, i guess I just have a pickiness to it. Do you think I would just be better off at that price point trying to find a bassier set of speakers rather than subs?

Eh, well say I just want to leave the speakers as is. I mean, I don't need them to be louder, and I'm very impressed with the audio quality already. I may do that down the line, but a 10" sub to me sounds like it would suffice. I think as far as the low notes, the sub would do fine b/c the...

I'm curious as to what would be the benefit of amping the speakers really? I mean, I know it let's them get louder...but I don't have any trouble getting the speakers to go loud enough. I get to 40 on the volume knob at most out of a possible 63 I think. And why would you amp the front over...

Well, I don't have a set budget yet, but the cheaper it is the better. Is it possible to get a decent little pioneer sub, amp, and box for under $350....that's pushing the price tag, so anything over would be iffy to me. This won't be bought right away, but I want to make sure saving up for it...

When you say 6.5 components up front, do you mean like woofers in my front door? And why do you say the rear would need amps? They get plenty loud and I'm really satisfied with them. Sorry, I'm really not too knowledgable about all this stuff.

wow thanks for the extremely fast replies. I really should've put this in the OP, but what about anything from Pioneer? I was kinda hoping to go with a full pioneer setup. I drive a '99 mazda protege, so the rear deck speakers are much needed IMO. Also, I don't know many car audio shopping...

First off. I'm new here, so give me a break please . Ok, I listen predominantly to a lot of heavy stuff, and IMO, the most important thing to me would be how well the sub would handle that really fast, gritty, and thumpy double bass. I don't need a lot of power (I don't really have a powerful...
