The main difference between welding cable and audio power cable is the diameter of the strand size. The strands are smaller in size in audio cable which means you have more wire in the gauge because there is less space between the strands.

do you guys get a sealant called sika flex in your country. it comes in a tube like silicon sealant and its the same stuff the use to bond car panels with. I've tried it on mdf and it works very well
