Box size is not an issue - going in a Suburban.

That's what I thought too, but why would they recommend that and what size box should I build?

I have read many posts and cannot find the answer. I have 4 10" Punch XLC's (I know old school) that I want to put in a slot ported box. I have designed the box with reaudio and tuned accordingly. So many posts on here say to go with more space than recommended by the manufacturer. By rights...
