I have a JL 10W0v3 BassWedge, slot ported, rated for 300 watts RMS. I intend on using the Pioneer PRS-D800 amp, which bridged is also 300 watts RMS. So the question is, should I have more RMS on hand, or is the intended sub/amp combination a proper match?

I have had a few over the years, but it has been a couple of decades since I had a system. Just sliding into it right now. Actual install will not be until next spring. By then I hope I will have learned enough to set the system up properly.
