Well I'll put an update when i get all this done on what happens but from my point of view I love sound quality but i don't mind sacrificing a little tiny bit of quality for a bit of loudness. And on that note i'll probly end up just putting in one Sub maybe a 14"

I'll put in a sub but that has it's own budget.

I'm not looking to get 36 speakers but im not gonna only have 4 either. Im just looking at 6 speakers and a sub...is that too much? And anyway what do you think i should put in there then, i am looking for Quality over quantity and over loudness.

OK so here's the dealie-o I got 1k to put into my speakers. I have room for 1 set of 9x6's 1 set of 5 1/4" and some door speakers that are 3.5" but i could probly make them 5 1/4's also. The music I listen too is Rock, Metal, Punk, Gothic. A guy at Ultimate Electronics recommended Diamond speaks...

I think Alpine could have done a better job making it look cool and they should have built in that usb but I did some research on it and that head unit is more than likely going to be the one i get.
