Honestly, check out the JBL LSR305 Studio Monitors. Best bang for your buck for powered monitors. I prefer them over the emotivas listed above and they are cheaper. They are going for 130 bucks a piece on amazon right now.

I just spoke to Bryan from Sundown. He recommended going 2 SD-3 10" subs sealed. It was also suggested that the optimal enclosure is .5 ft ^3, which is after the .12 displacement.

Any other opinions of 8'' vs 10'' for sq? Also, sealed vs ported?
