sorry, im still learning a bit about things, the cap is grounded to the dis block which then goes on to the car ground. the remote cable from headunit then on to dis block then to the amps and the power cap.

i have just tried using the remote cable from the headunit to the remote from the amp but nothing. what is the correct or best way to wire up a cap?
