I was wandering the difference between home audio amps and automotive amps, I know that home amps usually run around 8 and 4 ohms, and cars are ll over the place, I am looking for an amp that will do 2 ohms for my 15" orion h2.....

I was told if I installed my sub in a house, the ohms would be all different, and it would burn itself out, anyone know if this is true, also any web sites on what I would need to do it, and stores which sell thease things. I would like to hook up my 15" orion h2:)
