Hey, I'm looking to power my 2 10' mtx thunder 6000's. I've looked around some, and found that this amp was only slightly more expensive than the TA3401 amps. My subs are 4 ohm, and SVC I believe... Not positive. Would this be a good amp to hook these 2 10's up? I'm really new to car audio and...

I don't really need that much power do I? I could get something a bit less powerful/expensive couldn't I?

Just figured out that these are 4OHM. so what should I get?

I'm probably abou tto pick that same amp up for my 2 10' MTX 6000s. My problem is however that I don't know the OHM of the subs, and I dont' have access to one of those machines that tells you. Should I just go ahead and buy the amp and hope for the best? How would I hook up the amp channel wise...
