Maybe, but I have this box with s "toolbox" on the drivers side. So the only open space I have is behind the pass side. The box goes from under the dash to the back wall with the 12" and 3.2 cubes.

@djdillion being that the crossover is an issue with the smart, HD or MD Taramps, why not consider the bass5k? Just curious of the difference between the bass and the others?

So I have a mechman alt I used as a secondary in my old setup. New truck and I only need 1. Is it possible to connect and remove the battery light that will come on. Or is it even possible to use as a primary alt? Truck is an ‘01 gmc 4.3. Thanks for any help.

You’re right. However, if you buy another sub and put it in the same box your expectations will be crushed thinking there’s going to be a significant difference. The point being made is simply that the box will be key for better output even with the same sub you had. 👍🏼

I'll repeat already mentioned "BOX" again. In a properly built & tuned box another set of P2s would be completely different than what you already had easily.

Great looking build. That front face looks really nice too. I've always been interested in building a box like that. I just don't have a table router and it would take me forever to cut, lol.
