Is this amp good at this price range? it seems to cheap to be good.

Sorry for my extreme Noob-ness. I'm just trying to learn what I can. Its really interesting stuff. What is the significance of a larger magnet? Is there some links you could post as to what the basics of subwoofers are all about or can that be found on this site?

Don't mean to post jack but would 1 woofer ported vs 2 woofers sealed generally have more output or does cone area usually win out if you have identical woofers??

I heard a 12 inch type R on a RF1000bdcp, and that woofer had some slamming output. It was ported in an ford f350 Haven't heard the Kicker.

SD series. the current ones from Sundown. Would they be comparable to the SA line?

I have looked long and hard and there seems to be nothing that has the power ratings and mounting depth of the SD Series Woofers. Any other suggestions. I have a max depth of 5 3/4" for the woofer.

Looking at the Sundown sax 1200 and either run 2 SD 12, or one single ported.

I have been checkin out some youtube videos on the sd's and they sure can handle the power. I am almost convinced to go this route.

any recommendations for other woofers that are under 5.75" mounting depth?
