    Need some advice with this new sub'

    OK i know this is a double thread but w/e. So i got this newish sub and amp i got a 12" DD sub (unknown Model) with a 500w Alpine amp. The guy i bought this off said that this was a 143.9DB but im new to car audio. just started last week. wondering if this is real good or what? i got some pics here

    Well cant give u any pics now (im at a mates place.) But Its a 500w Alpine Amp (Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.) i got no clue what brand dd sub it is. and i havent installed it yet i bought it yesterday for $300 NZD

    Hey just bought this DD sub with a box and a alpine amp. they dude says that it does 143.9DB just wondering is that any good? its a 12" sub (i just started getting into car audio i just wanna learn from the professionals. LOL)
