Need advice on an Amp for a single 10" old Kicker sub

Question. Is it bad to run this old sub at a wattage above its 150RMS? Do you just tone down the amp setting if it runs at say 250w @ 8 Ohm?

Yes for quite a while unless this old kicker blows out. But it would just be replaced with another singe 10". It seems most modern 10s are 4 Ohm so getting a 600w @ 2 Ohm amp would give me 300w @ 4 Ohm to work with for a replacement need be. Unless I am missing something.

Ok I think I figured this out on my own. Please correct me if I have anything wrong. Sub is 300 peak = 150w RMS. 8 Ohm So Amp would need to be: Mono / single channel. 600w @ 2 Omh (150w @ 8 Ohm) Or Dual channel. 300w X 2 @ 2 Ohm (75w X 2 @ 8 Ohm) Is that right?

Yes it is 8 Ohm I got a better picture of the back. I think RMS rating is "Pmax, watts = 300" off the manual i found linked above. Does that sound right? updated with pictures / manual above

Need advice on an Amp for a single 10" old Kicker sub

I think it is an old 10" Kicker Competition and Freeair C-Series sub (pictures below) and I need an amp for them. It is sealed in it's box and don't want to have to take it out if I don't need too. So I can't see the back. From what I found on the web and based off the picture I found of it...
